Pinzgau Local Railway: Bramberg – Krimml Route

Alternate transportation between Bramberg and Krimml

The major floods of 2005 partially destroyed the railway line between Mittersill and Krimml, with reconstruction work still on-going. Service is scheduled to be fully restored along the final section to Krimml on September 11, 2010.
Between Bramberg (railway station) and Krimml (town & falls), a bus currently runs in place of rail service. The bus schedule is coordinated with trains running on the Zell am See–Bramberg line. Several buses have special trailers on the back, allowing them to transport several bicycles.
